Krka & Šibenik

Beauty of lakes and waterfalls

The National Park Krka is one of the most famous national parks of Croatia. The abundance of water, the pristine nature and the wonderfully constructed wooden boardwalk allow you to explore the national park in depth and to get away from the big cities and back into nature. The trinity of senses: the smell of fresh air, the awe inspiring beauty that you can see wherever you look and the sound of water crashing against the rocks. It is no surprise that frequent guests of Croatia visit and revisit the national park constantly.

Your guides will give you a tour of the ethnographic-village and show you how our ancestors used to live, going through the old traditions and some of the unusual customs that were very popular in the old villages. You will be visiting the Old Water Mill, a typical Dalmatian kitchen, the weaver’s workshop, the blacksmith and the fulling mull and washing basket rooms. Your guides will also give you tips and hints on how to use your time in the national park most effectively so that you can have enough time to walk on the wooden footpath, take your very own postcard photo of Krka from one of the many viewpoints, enjoy local food or even go for a swim if the weather permits.
